Executive Director Greg Wetmore at 760.568.3332 to purchase brunch tickets Annual brunch benefiting Gay Associated Youth (G.A.Y.) will take place at 11 a.m. at Le Vallauris in Palm Springs. The beloved yearly event features cocktails, fine food, a silent auction, and entertainment amongst a garden atmosphere. All proceeds from the $200 ticket price go directly to G.A.Y. the organization in our valley that provides a safe place and support for gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and questioning (GLBTQ) youth and their allies through the provision of guidance, advocacy and resources. |

The 1000 red carnations commemorative our recent losses. The flowers represent Americans who have died defending the many freedoms we all share today. Each visitor is invited to collect one flower to take home.Fun for the entire family! |

Desert AIDS Project is pleased to announce that Desert Regional Medical Center has donated $25,000 as Presenting Sponsor of the Desert AIDS Walk on Saturday, October 25, 2008. “As a primary health care provider to the desert cities, Desert Regional appreciates the importance of what Desert AIDS Project is doing every day for its 2,300 clients, as well as helping to reduce the transmission of HIV,” said Cliff Daniels, Associate Administrator of Business Development at Desert Regional Medical Center. “We’re hoping our contribution and support will get D.A.P. off to an early start toward their goals of 3,000 Walkers and raising $300,000. We hope the entire community will get behind their cause and come out to walk with them.” October 25, 2008 will mark the 21st anniversary of the Desert AIDS Walk. |
