Business Directory

Annually, the Palm Springs Chamber of Commerce publishes a Business Referral Directory listing the names, addresses, telephone number and categories of partner member businesses. More than 6,000 directories are distributed to all Palm Springs Chamber members, new area businesses, residents, and visitors upon request. In 2005, the Business Directory received the ACE "Award of Excellence" for the 2004-2005 directory from the American Chamber of Commerce, one of the highest honors available.

Website

The Palm Springs Chamber provides a free listing for all Chamber members in the business directory on the website. The list is updated monthly to include new and renewing members. Additional advertising opportunities are available utilizing banner advertising and links to member websites.

Business Referral System

The Chamber staff furnishes referrals to Chamber businesses in response to many personal and written inquires daily.

Member to Member Specials

Each Monday the Chamber publishes a new list of Chamber specials to the membership base. This is a free service, and if your company would like to offer a discount on a product or service please submit it to us at pschamber@pschamber.org and indicate what the special is and how long it will be available. We will make sure it goes in the next issue of Member to Member Specials.

Community Involvement

Active members form new business alliances and become familiar with local issues by getting involved with Chamber committees and community events.

Ribbon Cuttings & Grand Openings

New and existing businesses receive ribbon cutting photo opportunities and community wide exposure for grand openings, groundbreaking ceremonies, or special anniversaries.

Lobby Brochure Displays

Members can promote their business by displaying brochures in the Chamber reception area racks and also at monthly Breakfast Forums.

Palm Springs Business Matters

This monthly publication is available for partner members, and serves as a vital link to Chamber activities, member features, useful business articles, new products, promotions, location changes, and updates.

New & Renewing Member Orientation

Monthly Mixers

Mixers are hosted by different member businesses on the fourth Tuesday of each month from 5:30 to 7:30PM. They provide excellent opportunities for members and prospective members to exchange ideas and business cards.

Quarterly Breakfast Forum

Breakfast Forums are held on the second Wednesday of each quarter. New members are introduced by the Chamber president and have an opportunity to say a few words about their business. A group photo is taken of all new members and published in the Chamber Business Matters. Breakfast Forum sponsorships are available for $400 by contacting the Director of Member Services.

Annual State of the City Address

Each February, the Palm Springs Chamber of Commerce hosts a state of the city address by the mayor of Palm Springs at a special luncheon in the location at a location to be determined.

Quarterly Speakers Luncheons

In addition to State of the City Luncheon, the Chamber hosts lunches in May, August and November of each year. The topics of these luncheons are always timely and of interest to the general community. Sponsorships for Quarterly Luncheons are available at $1,000.00.

Business Exposition

Chamber members may display goods and services at the annual Business Exposition. Open to the pubic, this event attracts more than 2,000 plus attendees.
